Pharmacy Operation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Pharmacy Operation Manager to join our healthcare organization in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing pharmacy operations, ensuring exceptional patient care, and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day pharmacy department operations, ensuring compliance with Qatar’s healthcare regulations and international standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve pharmacy services, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring of medications and supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Analyze pharmacy performance metrics and implement data‑driven improvements.
• Ensure adherence to quality‑assurance programs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Optimize workflow processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in pharmacy services.
• Manage budgets and financial performance of the pharmacy department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) and a valid pharmacist license in Qatar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar’s healthcare regulations, controlled substances licensing, and quality‑assurance programs.
• Proven leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Arabic a plus).

Required skills

• Proficiency in pharmacy management software systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
