Pharmacy Operation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Operation Manager to lead our pharmacy department in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving excellence in patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring of medications and supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Mentor pharmacy staff, fostering continuous learning and professional development.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement data‑driven improvements.
• Maintain quality assurance programs and accurate documentation.
• Optimize workflow processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage budgets and financial performance of the pharmacy department.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) and a valid pharmacist license in Qatar.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacy operations experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven leadership and team‑management track record.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and controlled substances licensing.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
