Plant Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Plant Maintenance Engineer is responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly and reliably. You will work closely with production teams, management, and suppliers to develop and execute maintenance strategies that support the organization’s goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, creating maintenance plans that minimize downtime.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and propose reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with production, management, and suppliers to align maintenance activities with business priorities.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and proactively mitigate hazards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and procedures supporting maintenance tasks.
• Participate in training programs to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and equipment operation.
• Ability to analyze information, diagnose problems, and develop effective solutions.
