Portfolio Manager – Private Credit (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead and expand our private credit programme in Doha. You will be instrumental in shaping the firm’s global private markets strategy and driving a manager‑led investment approach.

Key responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of the global private markets strategy within the private credit programme.
• Lead manager selection and conduct due diligence on private credit funds, co‑investments and secondaries.
• Evaluate and underwrite co‑investment opportunities alongside external managers.
• Contribute to portfolio construction, asset allocation and ongoing rebalancing across private markets.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk and exposures, and prepare materials for internal governance and investment committees.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior decision‑makers within a structured investment committee framework.
• Help build investment processes, frameworks and governance as the platform scales.

Required profile

• Experience on an institutional investment platform such as a sovereign wealth fund, pension fund, asset manager or family office.
• Strong exposure to private credit and a deep understanding of the global manager universe.
• Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable operating across fund investments and co‑investments.
• Entrepreneurial, hands‑on attitude with the ability to develop processes rather than inherit them.
• Internationally minded, adaptable and effective in a culturally diverse environment.
