Primary School Teacher – KS1 & KS2

About the role

Newton British School, Al Waab is looking for enthusiastic Primary School Teachers for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will join a supportive community that values student wellbeing and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons following the English National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2.
• Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a B.Ed or a Bachelor in English, Maths or Science plus PGCE.
• Ideally at least 2 years of experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to meet Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) requirements in Qatar.
• Willingness to provide references, police clearances and ICPCs for the past 10 years.

Required skills

• Proficient use of IT tools for lesson planning and delivery.
