Process Engineering Specialist – I&SRU

About the role

The Process Engineering Specialist – I&SRU will advise and support process engineering activities throughout the EPC and startup phases, ensuring safety, operability, reliability and maintainability meet operational expectations. The role influences project decisions by balancing CAPEX and OPEX considerations and ensures compliance with QG specifications and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for RCFA, HAZOP, FRA, HAZID, SIL verification and process safety issues.
• Develop and implement process surveillance tools and SOPs to ensure safe, reliable production and timely escalation of deviations.
• Participate in system completions, walk‑downs, and high‑risk commissioning activities, including tuning and optimization of systems.
• Maintain an Issue Register to identify and resolve critical new‑technology risks affecting reliability, availability and cyber security.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an oil and gas environment.
