Procurement Manager – Hospitality Industry

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the procurement function for a multi‑brand wellness and lifestyle group in Qatar, ensuring high‑quality goods and services are sourced at best value while upholding premium brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and brand standards.
• Create a procurement roadmap covering fitness equipment, F&B, spa & wellness, facilities, maintenance, retail, IT, and professional services.
• Identify consolidation and cost‑optimisation opportunities across all spend categories.
• Lead competitive sourcing processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and maintain a curated supplier register for Qatar and GCC markets.
• Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, performance monitoring, reviews, renewals, and exits with defined KPIs and SLAs.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain the group’s contract library, ensuring compliance and commercial advantage.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Legal on budgeting, risk, warranties, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor spend against contracts and budgets, escalating variances and recommending corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the hospitality or wellness sector.
• Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of supplier management, cost optimisation, and total cost of ownership.
• Experience contributing to annual budgeting and financial planning.
