Procurement Manager

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead all procurement activities for Etqan Global Academy in Doha. You will be responsible for delivering compliant, value‑driven sourcing that supports operational excellence and high‑quality learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the school’s procurement strategy aligned with regional objectives.
• Create annual procurement plans in partnership with the Operations Manager, senior leadership team and Finance Manager.
• Drive value‑for‑money initiatives through competitive sourcing, benchmarking and strategic negotiation.
• Lead tendering processes in line with governance standards.
• Negotiate and manage commercial contracts and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, internal financial controls and Nord Anglia policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation for audit and governance.
• Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance to minimise risk.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of goods and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field.
• Professional procurement qualification (CIPS or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial roles.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and financial analysis capabilities.
• Experience working within structured governance and compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of Qatar procurement regulations (preferred).
• Experience in education, hospitality or service‑based environments (desirable).
