About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join SUEZ’s global procurement team. The role will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end purchasing activities, ensuring the right goods and services are sourced at the best value while supporting the company’s environmental mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities from requisition to purchase order issuance.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery and service.
  • Obtain and analyse quotations and conduct commercial evaluations.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding procurement requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts and supplier databases.
  • Support cost‑saving initiatives and procurement optimisation strategies.
  • Track market trends, price fluctuations and supply risks.
  • Assist in contract management and framework agreements when applicable.
  • Prepare procurement reports, savings reports and spend analysis.
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Support project teams in sourcing specialised materials or services.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, tendering and contract management processes.
  • Relevant certifications (CPP, CPPM, DSCM, CIPS) are an advantage.

Required skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of procurement best practices and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.
  • Team player with stakeholder‑management capability.
