Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for Alkalive Qatar, the country’s first alkaline water producer. Based on‑site in Doha, the role ensures timely, cost‑effective acquisition of materials and services while supporting quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Source suppliers, request quotations and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Prepare, process and track purchase orders, maintaining accurate procurement records.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production, operations and finance teams.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with safety, quality and local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or beverage/water production preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to assess quotations, total cost of ownership and spending.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP or dedicated procurement software.
