Procurement Officer

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Procurement Officer in Doha, Qatar, working 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. The role covers sourcing, negotiating and purchasing materials, equipment and services so that procurement is timely and cost-effective and meets project and organisational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors according to project needs
• Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, terms and delivery schedules
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with procurement procedures
• Coordinate with project and site teams on material requirements
• Track and expedite deliveries to ensure timely availability
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and vendor evaluations
• Ensure all materials and services meet technical specifications and quality standards
• Liaise with finance on invoice verification and payment processing

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in industrial projects
• Strong negotiation, communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of local and international sourcing is an advantage
