Product Specialist – Mobile Money & Digital Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a Product Specialist to lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of our customer‑facing mobile money application, merchant interfaces and back‑office tools. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution to deliver a differentiated customer experience and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle from concept through launch, iteration and retirement for mobile money and related platforms.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps that align with current business needs and future growth objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure platform performance, manage upgrades and implement necessary modifications.
• Champion the customer journey, identifying pain points and driving improvements that set the product apart.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices, providing insights to continuously enhance user experience.
• Manage product budgets, supplier relationships and vendor contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B or B2C product delivery experience, preferably in mobile financial services or banking.
• Proven ability to create and execute product strategies and roadmaps.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Experience overseeing budgets and managing external suppliers or vendors.
