Project Coordinator – Kahramaa Projects (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The Project Coordinator will manage all activities related to Kahramaa GTC works and substation projects in Qatar. The role ensures smooth execution, timely approvals, and strict compliance with Kahramaa requirements while acting as the main liaison between Kahramaa officials and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all Kahramaa applications, including gate passes, LOAs, master key requests, work permits and shutdown requests.
• Coordinate General Tariff Contract (GTC) emergency, fault rectification, preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support substation projects (132 kV, 220 kV, LV‑MV) by liaising with relay protection, testing & commissioning engineers, cable jointers and fitters.
• Plan and allocate field manpower, track work progress and productivity.
• Organise meetings with Kahramaa engineers and inspectors, prepare minutes and follow‑up actions.
• Handle pre‑qualification submissions, maintain a database of approved suppliers and support tendering processes.
• Compile and submit final project documentation such as as‑built drawings, test reports and work completion records.
• Ensure compliance with Kahramaa safety and operational standards and provide regular status reports.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience coordinating Kahramaa GTC and substation projects.
• Good understanding of approval processes, work permits, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work closely with Kahramaa officials, internal technical teams and external vendors.
