Project Manager – Building Construction

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of a major building construction project in Qatar, overseeing all day‑to‑day activities from start‑up through handover. Reporting to the Project Director, the role coordinates engineering, procurement, construction, planning, logistics, commercial, quality and safety functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily project execution, ensuring integration of all disciplines and adherence to contract, schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, procurement timelines, construction activities, and HSE requirements, and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Monitor progress, productivity and subcontractor performance, implementing corrective actions and risk mitigation measures.
• Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts and performance updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with 18–20 years of experience in large‑scale building projects.
• Minimum 12 years with Tier‑1 main contractors, including experience in Qatar or the GCC.
• Proven track record managing residential, commercial, mixed‑use, hospitality or institutional projects exceeding QAR 500 million.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of building construction methodologies and project execution.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Office and document management platforms such as Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud or Procore.
