QA/QC Engineer – CAT III Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will act as the quality focal point for CAT III projects, interfacing with the EPC contractor, company stakeholders and sub‑contractors to ensure compliance throughout engineering, procurement and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and promote the company’s QA/QC requirements and compliance expectations.
• Support interface relationships between project stakeholders and EPC contractors.
• Review project scope to define the nature, extent and frequency of quality verification activities.
• Lead and participate in assigned quality verification activities and coordinate quality team meetings.
• Report QA/QC metrics to the Project Management Team and Lead QA/QC Engineer.
• Review contractor and supplier deliverables for conformance with QELNG quality standards (e.g., PQP, PEP, ITP, WPS, WQT, Criticality Rating Assessments).
• Chair pre‑inspection meetings and coordinate on‑site and workshop inspections.
• Allocate appropriate company inspection resources and verify repair activities against approved documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in QA/QC for EPC projects, particularly CAT III projects.
• Ability to work with EPC contractors, third‑party inspection organisations and internal project teams.
• Strong understanding of quality verification processes during detail engineering, procurement and construction.

Required skills

• Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) methodologies.
• Inspection coordination and reporting.
• Familiarity with QELNG quality documentation such as PQP, PEP, ITP, WPS, WQT.
