QA/QC Engineer (Civil)

About the role

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer specialized in civil works to implement and maintain the project‑specific Quality Management System. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure that all civil activities meet the required quality and safety standards. The engineer will also ensure proper documentation and record control in line with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for the project.
• Conduct inspections, testing and audits of civil site activities.
• Prepare and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), quality control plans and checklists for civil works.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to verify supplier quality and contractual compliance.
• Analyse quality data, generate non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and drive corrective‑action plans.
• Support root‑cause analysis and the implementation of preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards on site and maintain proper documentation and records control.
• Participate in project quality meetings and liaise with third‑party inspectors.
• Maintain quality documentation and ensure proper records control per project and corporate standards.

Required profile

• Experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects.
• Familiarity with QCS 2014/2024, Shell DEP’s and QPAD requirements.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards related to site activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills
