QA/QC Inspector – Materials & Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Inspector to carry out inspections and quality verification across material receipt, fabrication, assembly and testing for oil & gas projects. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards and international codes, supporting the delivery of high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑process and final inspections of fabrication, welding, assembly and mechanical works according to approved drawings, procedures and specifications.
• Inspect incoming materials, components and consumables, verify material test certificates and maintain traceability.
• Support pressure tests, non‑destructive testing (NDT) activities and dimensional inspections.
• Ensure measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and used per defined standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, checklists and non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and maintain accurate QA/QC records.
• Identify and report deviations, assist in root‑cause analysis and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and project teams to communicate quality requirements.
• Participate in vendor, subcontractor, client and third‑party inspections as required.
• Adhere to all safety and QHSE guidelines during inspection activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of inspection experience on Oil & Gas projects, with at least 5 years in on‑shore gas facilities (preferably LNG).
• Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA and NETA.

Required skills

• NDT Level II (UT, RT, PT, MT) certification (preferred).
• Pressure testing and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Calibration of measuring and testing equipment.
• Verification of material test certificates and traceability management.
• Knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA and NETA standards.
