QC Civil Inspector (Qatar Energy Approved)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified QC Civil Inspector with a valid Qatar Energy (QE) approval to join a leading construction project in Qatar. The role involves on‑site quality assurance and control of civil works, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily QA/QC inspections of civil activities such as earthworks, concrete pouring, rebar installation, formwork and structural steel erection.
• Verify that all work conforms to Qatar Energy (QE) specifications, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and the approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
• Coordinate and witness third‑party laboratory tests, including soil compaction, concrete cylinder/cube testing and asphalt testing.
• Prepare, review and sign off Requests for Inspection (RFIs) with client representatives.
• Maintain accurate daily QA/QC logs, inspection records and issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when deviations are identified.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of NCRs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated civil quality control experience in the GCC, preferably on heavy industrial, oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Valid Qatar Energy (QE) approval as a QC Civil Inspector.
• Qatari ID (QID) with a transferable visa/NOC and immediate availability for interview and mobilization to Ras Laffan.

Required skills
