Red Team Ops Specialist

About the role

The Red Team Ops Specialist will lead realistic adversary simulations to test and improve our security controls across network, endpoint, identity, cloud, and application environments. Working under strict legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines, you will help identify high‑risk attack paths and strengthen our defensive capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute red‑team and adversary‑emulation activities across all layers of the infrastructure.
• Simulate threat‑actor techniques aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK framework to assess detection and response.
• Identify, exploit, and document security weaknesses with reproducible evidence and impact assessments.
• Collaborate with blue and purple teams to validate detections and support remediation.
• Maintain strict adherence to scope, rules of engagement, and national security requirements.
• Produce clear, technically accurate reports for both technical teams and security leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in red‑team operations.
• Proven track record of leading at least 10 red‑team engagements.
• Experience developing at least one custom red‑team tool.
• Demonstrated research contributions such as new logging bypasses, enumeration techniques, or misconfiguration discoveries.
• Experience delivering security training.
• Certified in CRTO (or equivalent).

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows operating systems.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory architecture and security.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency with MITRE ATT&CK framework and common red‑team tooling.
