Reservation & Communications Centre Host (Guest Service Officer)

About the role

Join Andaz Doha as a Reservation & Communications Centre Host, supporting the Rooms Division by ensuring the Communications Centre runs smoothly. You will act as the primary point of contact for operators and order‑takers, delivering exceptional guest service in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient operation of the Communications Centre within the Rooms Division.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Operate hotel PMS systems, including Opera and Reserve, to manage reservations and guest information.
• Coordinate with front‑office and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to maintain 24/7 coverage.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of front‑office, reservation, or communications centre experience in an upscale or luxury hotel.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle guest requests and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Reserve).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation and communication processes.
