Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all guest reservation inquiries, changes, and cancellations for a luxury hotel in West Bay, Doha. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and professional booking experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or email.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and recommend appropriate room types and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies clearly to callers.
• Document special requests and accommodate them whenever possible.
• Answer questions about hotel facilities, services, and room features.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input accurate data into the reservation system.
• Code special reservation types such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, and travel‑agent rates.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and adhere to all company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and support a positive team environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific certifications needed.
