Restaurant Host/Hostess – Guest Services

About the role

The Restaurant Insider/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at W Doha. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage seating flow, and ensure each guest experiences a clean and comfortable dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to appropriate tables.
• Pull out chairs, place clean menus, and set up napkins, silverware, and other standard place settings.
• Monitor dining room for seating availability, safety, and overall guest well‑being.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Check menus for accuracy, cleanliness, and proper placement.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and provide assistance as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies, reporting any incidents promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication.
• Willingness to adhere to safety, security, and company standards.
