Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager oversees daily operations of the restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas in West Bay, Doha. The role ensures high standards of service, sanitation, and financial performance while supporting guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all front‑of‑house staff, covering restaurants, bars and room service.
• Maintain service and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with local health and liquor regulations.
• Assist with menu planning and coordinate with kitchen teams to deliver quality offerings.
• Monitor staffing levels, schedule employees and adjust resources to meet operational and financial goals.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and trustworthy work environment.
• Handle peak‑time service, stepping in on the floor to support servers and hosts as needed.
• Track financial performance, identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management or related field with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage day‑to‑day restaurant operations and lead a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards, liquor laws and food‑handling regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
