Retail Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager will lead a Watsons retail outlet in Qatar, overseeing daily operations, customer service standards, and financial performance. This role requires planning, controlling, and directing store activities to achieve sustainable sales and profit targets while maintaining a high‑quality shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive, monitor and review sales performance; recommend action plans to meet the store sales budget.
• Conduct monthly meetings on category sales, update selling personnel and propose improvement actions.
• Implement and ensure 100% execution of promotional programs for exclusive products.
• Manage and control approved OPEX budgets, including utilities, supplies and staff costs.
• Monitor shrinkage, inventory adjustments, GAP, cycle counts and negative quantity on hand.
• Ensure timely stock replenishment, accurate display implementation and product availability.
• Handle product queries and complaints, providing professional advice aligned with brand standards.
• Drive loyalty programmes, selling techniques, conversion rates and transaction participation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail store management, preferably within beauty or health‑care categories.
• Strong ability to plan, control and direct store operations to meet KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills to influence and motivate a diverse team.
• Track record of achieving sales, profit and expense targets.
