Risk Data & Modelling Expert

About the role

The Tax Compliance Risk Data & Modelling Expert oversees the full lifecycle of tax data assets, analyses cross‑system tax information and builds predictive models to support compliance risk assessment and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end cycle of tax data assets, including acquisition, validation, cleansing, storage and evaluation.
• Develop and monitor data governance practices to ensure tax data quality, consistency, security and controlled access.
• Analyze tax data using statistical and exploratory techniques to identify patterns relevant to compliance risk.
• Develop predictive and analytical models to support risk‑based assessment, audit targeting and monitoring of tax gaps.
• Create advanced dashboards and analytical views for operational monitoring and strategic planning.
• Coordinate with IT to develop analytical tools and automated reporting systems.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to assess data needs and provide analytical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 16+ years of experience in data analytics, statistical modelling or risk analytics within tax administration, government or financial compliance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of tax data structures, data governance concepts and analytical tools.
