Road Foreman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Road Foreman to lead road construction and maintenance activities on site. The role involves supervising daily operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise road construction tasks such as excavation, grading, backfilling, compaction, asphalt laying, and reinstatement.
• Allocate daily tasks to workers, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Monitor site progress and report daily status to the site engineer or supervisor.
• Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, QA/QC, HSE, and other construction teams.
• Verify proper use of materials, tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Check levels, alignment, road layers, compaction, and surface preparation before proceeding.
• Maintain safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce PPE and HSE requirements.
• Support inspection activities and resolve minor site issues during execution.

Required profile

• Relevant experience as a Road Foreman on road works, infrastructure, or civil construction projects.
• Good knowledge of road construction methods, asphalt works, subgrade, sub‑base, base course, and compaction.
• Ability to read basic drawings and follow site instructions.
• Strong manpower handling and site coordination skills.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures and safe work practices.
• Locally available candidates with immediate joining preferred.
