Sales – Events Executive

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Events Executive to drive the success of our meeting, catering and event segment at Beach Rotana, Doha. The role involves securing business, planning events, and coordinating with hotel operations and clients throughout the event lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Sell off‑site events and venues.
• Handle all meetings and catering enquiries following standard procedures.
• Act as a one‑stop shop for clients, collaborating with banquet operations, food & beverage, rooms division, finance and external suppliers.
• Optimize hotel revenue through strategic yield management and upselling of facilities and services.
• Work closely with the Area Sales MICE Team to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Conduct site inspections, client entertainment and familiarisation visits.
• Prepare and send all client correspondence, including proposals, confirmations, agreements and amendments.

Required profile

• Degree in hospitality or related field.
• Previous experience in catering sales within a hotel environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Computer literate; experience with Opera is an advantage.
• Customer‑driven, proactive, charismatic and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
• Team player with a structured, goal‑oriented work philosophy.
