Sales Manager – Corporate & Government

About the role

The Rixos Gulf Gulf Hotel Doha is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its corporate and government segment. The role focuses on driving revenue by acquiring new accounts, retaining existing clients, and aligning sales strategies with the hotel’s overall objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a proactive corporate sales strategy aligned with the hotel’s revenue and marketing plan.
• Identify, target and prospect new corporate and government accounts, establishing strong relationships.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, manage follow‑up, proposals, negotiations and contract closures.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure service standards, profitability and seamless hand‑over to operations.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, road‑shows and client visits to promote the hotel.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and demand spikes to uncover new opportunities.
• Conduct regular account reviews, forecasting and check‑in meetings with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise pricing, packaging and yield for corporate business.
• Liaise with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns, promotional offers and sales collateral.
• Represent the hotel externally at industry associations and networking events to raise brand visibility.

Required profile

• High school diploma or university degree.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of corporate sales experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Arabic speaking skills and local market experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities with C‑level clients.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced luxury setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
