Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will drive revenue for Mondrian Doha by prospecting new accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and executing strategic sales plans across corporate, consortia and leisure segments.

Key responsibilities

• Solicit new and existing accounts through calls, site visits and written communication to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Maintain a minimum of five daily sales appointments and achieve personal call goals.
• Administer support services, including email handling, database updates and contract preparation.
• Develop and implement Sales Action Plans aligned with the Revenue/Business Plan.
• Quote, negotiate and finalize pricing and contracts, securing signatures from customers.
• Manage contracted accounts, set quarterly production targets and monitor performance.
• Attend major travel trade shows and plan sales trips to key markets with DOS approval.
• Gather market intelligence, track trends and provide feedback on competition.
• Arrange FAM and site‑inspection trips for major clients and accompany them during visits.
• Maintain accurate files on active accounts and uphold professional appearance and punctuality.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and room‑night goals.
• Experience soliciting corporate, consortia and leisure accounts in a hospitality environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract‑closing abilities.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with trade, professional associations and local community.
• Willingness to travel for trade shows, sales trips and client site visits.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of handling administrative duties.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and reliable time‑keeping.
