Scaffolding Inspector

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Scaffolding Inspector in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The inspector inspects scaffolding structures, approves them for use and ensures they comply with offshore safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with design, load capacity and offshore safety standards.
• Approve scaffolds for use after verifying stability, anchorage and safety measures.
• Ensure scaffolding erection and dismantling follow CISRS and project-specific procedures.
• Maintain inspection records, issue permits and prepare reports for QA/QC teams.
• Enforce offshore HSE standards, PPE usage and permit-to-work systems during scaffolding operations.
• Work with scaffolding foremen and supervisors to rectify deficiencies and ensure safe practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Construction/Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore scaffolding inspection experience.
• Certifications: CISRS-OSTS Scaffold Inspector (Basic/Advanced), BOSIET/HUET (OPITO certified), basic H2S training, EPCIC project HSES induction.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of scaffolding design, load calculations and offshore safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and project specifications.
• Familiarity with CISRS, ISO and NOC standards.
