Scaffolding & Refactory Supervisor

About the role

The Scaffolding & Refactory Supervisor will lead the execution team responsible for scaffolding and refractory services across all company facilities. The role ensures safety, quality and procedural compliance while coordinating daily activities and reporting performance against the integrated schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and supervision for scaffolding and refractory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to the Refractory & Scaffolding manual, procedures and specification standards.
• Plan, supervise and monitor daily activities, submitting daily and weekly reports.
• Assess and certify scaffolding supervisors and inspectors; verify contractor competency.
• Conduct procedural awareness sessions and job execution training for end‑users.
• Inspect and audit scaffolding and refractory yards, overseeing work activities.
• Improve and review scaffold procedures and technical manuals, including complex access requirements.
• Contribute to annual maintenance budgets, tools and spare parts planning.
• Provide maintenance assistance during plant emergencies.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Structural, Civil or Mechanical engineering.
• Completed CITB, CISRS and OSHA certifications.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
