Science Teacher – British Curriculum – Doha

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Science Teacher for a British‑curriculum school in Doha. The successful candidate will join a supportive expatriate team and deliver high‑quality science education to secondary students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess science lessons in line with the National Curriculum of England.
• Prepare engaging practical activities and laboratory sessions.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Degree and PGCE (or equivalent) obtained in the UK or Ireland.
• Proven experience teaching science in British schools in the UK or Ireland.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar; suitable for single or married applicants without dependents.
• Not suitable for newly qualified teachers (ECTs).
