About the role
The Security Officer ensures a safe and secure environment for guests, employees and assets at Grand Hyatt Doha. Working on‑site, the officer monitors the premises, prevents potential security risks and responds promptly to any incidents while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Continuously patrol and monitor hotel areas to detect and deter security threats.
- Implement preventive measures and intervene quickly when incidents occur.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate incident reports, logs and documentation.
- Support the overall security function by ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Required profile
- Professional diploma or certification in Safety and Security (preferred).
- Minimum two years proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong practical knowledge of security procedures and risk management.
- Excellent administrative abilities, including report writing and record‑keeping.
