Security Operation Officer

About the role

The Security Operation Officer provides operational support, coordination and management of security across the Passenger Terminal Complex and associated landside and airside facilities. Reporting to the Airport Security Operations Center Duty Manager, the role ensures that passenger, staff and asset security are maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily security operations and supervise contracted staff to comply with local regulations and HIA standards.
• Coordinate with airport departments, flight operations and security duty managers during incidents such as bomb threats, hijackings or terrorist acts.
• Maintain and update security SOPs/LOPs and communicate changes to management.
• Provide information support and take initiative actions during security emergencies.
• Ensure effective liaison with all airport stakeholders to prevent security breaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a security‑related field.
• Minimum 4 years of aviation security supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of emergency plans, AVSEC principles and local regulations.
• Excellent command of English and proven report‑writing ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
