Security Operations Officer – Security Assessment & Assurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Security Operations Officer to lead enterprise‑wide security assessments across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, identity platforms and third‑party services. You will validate controls, drive continuous improvement and embed security into every stage of technology delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security assessments, architecture reviews, vulnerability scans and control validation across all technology domains.
• Develop and maintain a structured security assurance framework and track remediation from identification to validation.
• Assess web applications, APIs, mobile platforms, cloud services and container technologies for authentication weaknesses, privilege escalation and business‑logic flaws.
• Define secure configuration baselines for operating systems, networks, databases, cloud services and identity platforms, and monitor compliance.
• Conduct threat‑modeling, security design reviews and ensure alignment with Zero‑Trust and enterprise architecture.
• Evaluate third‑party suppliers, validate encryption and privacy controls, and support resilience testing.
• Produce security metrics, KPIs and executive reports, and support audit and compliance activities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of information security experience with a focus on security assessments and assurance.
• Strong knowledge of application, cloud, infrastructure and identity security.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability management, secure configuration and system hardening.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
