Security Systems Senior Technician

About the role

The Security Systems Senior Technician is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of on‑site security infrastructure. This role ensures that all security equipment operates reliably and that potential vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and scheduled checks to prevent security system failures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve on‑site security system malfunctions.
• Perform calibration, optimization, and repairs of security hardware and firmware.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing training and technical support.
• Collaborate with engineers, IT, and the Security Department to improve processes and implement upgrades.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and generate reports on system health and vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Electronic Security Systems, IT, or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of on‑site security systems.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary on‑site team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in security system software, firmware, and hardware maintenance.
• Experience with security equipment calibration and optimization.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for on‑site security issues.
• Familiarity with security assessment tools and related software.
