Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accurate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes. You will support audit activities, manage reconciliations, and provide financial insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, profit and loss reports, and balance‑sheet schedules.
• Perform general ledger, payroll, and account reconciliations, including journal entries.
• Generate invoices, maintain accounts receivable files, and produce related monthly reports.
• Validate banking activities, ensure balance‑sheet reconciliations, and manage cash‑flow reporting.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
• Guide junior accountants, provide training, and assist with ad‑hoc accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with general ledger functions and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Strong financial analysis abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and financial statements.
