Senior Associate IT Project Management (Qatarization)

About the role

QNB Group, the largest bank in the Middle East and Africa, is hiring a Senior Associate IT Project Management to support the Projects Department. The incumbent assists in the day-to-day operations of planned, ongoing and ad hoc projects, helps roll out the project management methodology, processes and tools, and supports data gathering, validation and management information reports.

Key responsibilities

• Shareholder and financial: maximise revenue through better PMO practices and data-driven insights, manage project revenue goals, implement KPIs and best practices, and promote cost efficiency.
• Customer (internal and external): maintain relationships with project recipients, liaise with project managers, prepare materials and training, support project management tool training, provide accurate information to auditors and compliance, and help resolve customer product queries while meeting SLAs.
• Internal processes, products and regulatory: prepare KPI reports, maintain the project and CAPEX inventory, develop documentation and reporting templates, coordinate IT departments, report progress and issues to management, and protect project information under group security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, banking, finance, accounting, economics, business administration, IT, computer science or MIS.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a highly rated international bank.
• Basic understanding of project management theory and practice; commitment to continuous professional development.
