Senior Business Analyst – Finastra Fusion Loan IQ

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Techno‑Functional Consultant to lead the implementation, customization, integration and production support of Finastra Fusion Loan IQ within our enterprise lending platform. The role works closely with business stakeholders, development and testing teams, and external vendors to deliver high‑quality banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements; produce Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Configure and support Finastra Fusion Loan IQ, including syndicated and bilateral lending products, customer setup, deal building, facility building and fee management.
• Develop SDK inquiry scripts, scripted APIs, batch jobs and event‑management components; customise the Loan IQ framework.
• Design and maintain integrations using REST APIs, XML, Java/J2EE and Oracle PL/SQL with core banking, payment, GL, treasury and third‑party systems.
• Support loan processing, pricing, accruals, batch runs, accounting entries and GL generation.
• Prepare test cases, functional test scenarios and regression tests; manage defect lifecycle and coordinate issue resolution.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support, troubleshoot interface failures, monitor nightly batches and coordinate releases.
• Create user documentation, operational procedures and deliver training to business users.

Required profile

• Extensive techno‑functional experience with Finastra Fusion Loan IQ, including configuration, SDK development and integration.
• Strong background in enterprise lending, syndicated and bilateral loan processing.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders, development teams and vendors.
• Experience in production support and issue resolution for complex banking applications.
