Senior Butcher – Remote

About the role

Master Meats is seeking a Senior Butcher to join its remote education team. You will provide advanced butchery expertise, develop training materials, and support learners across the meat, poultry, and seafood sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate cutting, trimming, and portioning techniques for beef, pork, poultry, and seafood via live virtual sessions and recorded content.
• Create practical learning resources, standard operating procedures, and best‑practice guides aligned with food safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to design and update course modules.
• Answer learner questions, provide feedback, and mentor participants in remote settings.
• Recommend tools, equipment, and inventory examples to support hands‑on learning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of instructional content and instructional design.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in professional butchery and meat processing, including poultry and seafood handling.
• Proven ability to teach and mentor remotely, comfortable with video calls and digital collaboration tools.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear, respectful communication.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and proper storage practices.
• Previous senior or lead role in a retail, wholesale, or food‑service environment.
