About the role
QatarEnergy is looking for a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer (Offshore) to provide technical design and engineering services in civil and structural engineering for all assigned offshore engineering projects. The work must meet the technical quality required by QatarEnergy procedures while balancing quality, schedule, cost and HSE.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10 years of relevant postgraduate experience, of which 6 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status, or equivalent, is preferable.
Required skills
- Ability to identify and use the relevant engineering standards and codes for offshore civil and structural engineering.
- Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality on engineering projects in a multi-project environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills with fluent English.
