Senior Corporate Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Associate to join our Doha office and lead complex corporate matters for a diverse client base. The role involves structuring transactions, drafting and negotiating agreements, and providing strategic advice on company formation, governance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and execute corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures and financing arrangements.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and shareholder agreements.
• Conduct and supervise due‑diligence investigations and prepare legal opinions.
• Advise on company formation, corporate governance and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Interact directly with clients, regulatory bodies and counterparties.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.
• Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions and support business development.

Required profile

• Qualified law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction preferred.
• Several years of post‑qualification experience in corporate law at a reputable law firm or in‑house department.
• Strong expertise in corporate matters such as company formation, governance, M&A, joint ventures and commercial contracts.
• Proven ability to conduct and supervise due‑diligence and regulatory reviews.
• Excellent analytical, communication and client‑facing skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage multiple matters under tight deadlines.
