Senior Cost Controller – Construction Finance Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to lead cost management across multiple large‑scale construction projects. The role combines deep construction knowledge with strong financial expertise to ensure accurate reporting, cost discipline, and informed commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project cost control, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Manage ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations) to maintain data integrity.
• Perform cost analysis, Earned Value Management and cash‑flow analysis.
• Support project managers, engineers, procurement and commercial teams with financial insights.
• Maintain internal controls, month‑end close and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, Quantity Surveying or Economics (MBA/MSc preferred).
• 10+ years of construction cost control experience, including 5+ years in senior roles.
• Experience on projects exceeding USD 100 million.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, PMP, CCP or MRICS are preferred.
