Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Continuous Security Testing

About the role

Qatar Airways is hiring a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for its Continuous Security Testing department in Doha. The analyst runs hands-on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses and reduce cyber risk across the airline's technology environment, working with technology and business stakeholders to recommend and validate remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver authorised security assessments within agreed scope, rules of engagement and testing schedules.
• Document findings, assess business impact and recommend risk-prioritised remediation.
• Coordinate with system owners, safeguard evidence and support security and compliance reporting.
• Perform external black-box and internal penetration testing, including controlled Active Directory exploitation.
• Assess cloud security in Microsoft Azure and GCP, including infrastructure, configurations and access controls.
• Review Wi-Fi, kiosk and OT (SCADA, Mitsubishi, Siemens) configurations, prioritising operational safety and availability.
• Use Tenable VM to scan servers, network devices and cloud infrastructure, then manually validate results and track remediation.
• Produce technical reports and management summaries, and continuously improve testing practices and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information technology, computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
• Preferred: aviation cyber security frameworks, OT assessment experience and one or more certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CRTL or CARTP.

Required skills

• Penetration testing: external black-box and internal infrastructure, Active Directory, Azure and GCP.
• Tenable VM and Kali Linux for vulnerability scanning and testing.
• Network security, Windows and Linux, Active Directory and cloud security.
• Wireless security, kiosk restrictions, infrastructure hardening and OT assessment.
• Clear reporting, stakeholder coordination and handling of confidential information.
