Senior Cyber Security Assessor (Certification)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Cyber Security Assessor to lead certification and compliance assessments for organizations seeking information security accreditation. The role ensures impartial, consistent, and high‑quality evaluation throughout the certification lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver certification assessment activities for information security and cyber security certifications.
• Manage assessment teams, assign cases, and oversee daily certification operations.
• Review organizations’ compliance with national and international security standards and frameworks.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of security controls and conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain accurate records, document findings with objective evidence, and ensure traceability.
• Develop and maintain certification procedures, methodologies, tools, and compliance measurement mechanisms.
• Provide recommendations and assessment outcomes to stakeholders and manage external communication throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, standards, and best practices; deliver internal training and workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in information security or cyber security.
• At least 4 years of experience in security auditing, risk management, or security program implementation.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer are preferred.
