Senior Cybersecurity Accreditation Auditor

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Accreditation Auditor will lead day‑to‑day accreditation services, ensuring that third‑party assessments are fair, consistent and objective. The role evaluates compliance with national and international cybersecurity standards, manages accreditation applications and upholds the integrity of the accreditation process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily accreditation services and maintain detailed, accurate records.
• Ensure competence, impartiality and consistency across all accreditation activities.
• Perform compliance checks against security standards and manage national accreditation scheme applications.
• Document observations and findings clearly, based on objective evidence.
• Develop and maintain accreditation procedures, tools and measurement mechanisms aligned with the National Information Security Compliance framework.
• Carry out periodic surveillance assessments of third parties to monitor compliance.
• Stay current with emerging threats, security developments and evolving technologies.
• Manage external communication throughout the assessment process and act as escalation point for accreditation issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, risk assessment or assurance.
• Hands‑on experience in security auditing, accreditation or cybersecurity management.
• Relevant certifications such as NIA Certified Auditor, CISSP, CISA, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (preferred).

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ISO 27001, OWASP, PTES and SOC CMM frameworks.
• Familiarity with national cyber security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIA, CSF).
• Understanding of local laws and regulations such as cybercrime statutes, PDPPL and e‑commerce requirements.
• Experience developing accreditation procedures, tools and compliance measurement mechanisms.
• Ability to produce clear, traceable documentation based on objective evidence.
