Senior Data Analyst - Operations & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Operations & Logistics team. You will work closely with operations managers, fleet and dispatch teams, data scientists, and engineers to turn delivery data into actionable insights that improve the speed, cost and reliability of last‑mile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define, monitor and report core operational KPIs such as delivery time, on‑time rate, courier utilization and cost per delivery.
• Analyze complex operational data sets using statistical techniques to diagnose bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Build demand forecasts and support capacity planning to match courier supply with order volume across zones and time windows.
• Investigate order‑lifecycle inefficiencies (acceptance, preparation, pickup, transit, drop‑off) and propose targeted solutions.
• Design and maintain dashboards that give real‑time and historical visibility into performance.
• Stay current with logistics analytics trends and mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering, operations research, supply chain or computer science.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations, logistics or supply‑chain analytics, preferably in a fast‑paced delivery or e‑commerce environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of turning messy data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
