Senior Data Center Logistics Technician

About the role
Microsoft is looking for a Senior Data Center Logistics Technician to lead ticket prioritisation, guide inbound and outbound logistics, and ensure accurate inventory balances across its global data centre portfolio. This role combines hands‑on logistics execution with mentorship of a technical team.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritise ticketing queues, resolve escalations and clear blocking issues to maintain smooth Inventory & Asset Management (IAM) operations.
- Provide task‑specific guidance to technicians handling incoming/outgoing deliveries, purchase‑order receiving and rack‑movement supervision.
- Coordinate with third‑party warehouses, OEM vendors and suppliers to facilitate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Perform assigned logistics tasks and escalate high‑volume or critical issues as needed.
- Leverage process knowledge and technical expertise to support on‑site and remote data‑center activities.
