Senior Design Architect

About the role

H’Collective Architecture and Interiors is looking for a Senior Design Architect to lead the creation of architectural concepts, develop compelling presentations, and guide multiple project teams from concept through completion. The role combines strong design leadership with client relationship management and mentorship of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration phases.
• Provide strategic design guidance to ensure effective planning, production, and delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and specialist partners for integrated outcomes.
• Explore and refine design options using 3D modeling and visualization tools.
• Shape creative direction of proposals and develop presentation strategies for client interviews.
• Mentor junior designers and support design leadership across multiple projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery.
• Champion interdisciplinary collaboration to uphold design quality and excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of architectural and design experience with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Proven ability to present concepts clearly and justify design decisions.
• Experience balancing client requirements, budgets, site opportunities, and constraints.
• Understanding of sustainable and universal design principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in D5.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of Rhino, Maya, and Enscape (advantage).
