Senior Design Researcher – Doha

About the role

WHOOP is seeking a Senior Design Researcher to join its Doha lab. The role will support product innovation by conducting mixed‑methods research that informs user experience, industrial design, and consumer insights. You will work closely with the Boston team and local partners, engaging directly with members and ensuring high‑quality research delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Localize and execute complex, multi‑site research initiatives to gather global design and product feedback.
• Collaborate with WHOOP Labs Boston to plan, run, and analyse global design studies.
• Adapt research protocols for Doha, including activity, session structure, and sample adjustments.
• Own region‑specific research projects and support remote global studies as a design research expert.
• Develop clear research plans, workflows, and deliverables, adjusting to evolving priorities.
• Manage research timelines and dependencies using project‑management tools.
• Coordinate with Recruitment, Lab Management, and other Researchers for end‑to‑end study delivery.
• Provide best‑in‑class service to lab visitors and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Support quantitative research requests related to user behavior at scale when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in user experience research, human factors, psychology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience conducting research in product, design, marketing, or similar environments.
• Proven ability to work across teams and geographies, delivering thoughtful research insights.
• Comfortable advocating for design‑research best practices and working independently.
